Sbi Home Finance Ltd has informed the Exchange that: "Further to our letter dated November 10, 2008 the petition under Section 433, 434 and 439 of the Companies Act, 1956 recently came up for hearing at the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta when the Hon'ble Court directed the Company to pay off the dues in six equal monthly installments, with the first installment falling due on 22nd January 2009. In default of the payment of the first installment or two consecutive installments and/or last installment, the petition will be admitted by the Hon'ble Court for further proceeding".

Sbi Home Finance Ltd has informed the Exchange that "A petition (No- 329 of 2008) under Sections 433, 434 and 439 of the Companies Act 1956 has been filed by State Bank of India against the Company at Calcutta High Court, praying for relief under the above Sections".
