State Bank Of Bikaner And Jaipur has informed the Exchange that in-principle approval of the Board of Directors of the Bank accorded to enter into negotiation with State Bank of India for acquisition of the business including assets and liabilities of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur by State Bank of India. While the decision is purely exploratory at this stage and there is no certainty in relation to completion of the acquisition, we as a matter of good corporate governance, to ensure complete transparency, are intimating this decision to the Exchange. No decision has been taken at this stage

State Bank Of Bikaner And Jaipur has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors have approved in its meeting held on October 20, 2015 raising of capital by Additional Tier I of Rs. 150 crore and Tier II Capital of Rs. 750 crore through suitable instrument(S) at an opportune time during Financial Year 2015-16.
