Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited has informed the Exchange that Shri M.P.Kharbanda, Company Secretary, has resigned from his office w.e.f. from January 22, 2015.

Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited has informed the Exchange that Shri Vikram Deswal, Director, has informed to the Company that his work and responsibilities in East Bridge Capital Management Ltd., Boston, USA where he is working, have grown significantly and he is unable to allocate appropriate time required for performing the duties as a Director in the Company and therefore, he relinquishes the office with immediate effect.

Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited has informed the Exchange vide letter dated June 12, 2014 regarding Changes in the Board of Directors.

Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited has informed the Exchange that "Shri Nirmal Chandra Jha, Whole-time Director has informed that he is intending to join the field of Academia on full time basis. To pay his full attention on this, he has wished to be relieved from the present job responsibilities attached to Whole-time Directorship w.e.f. 1st August, 2013 and the same has been accepted."

Monnet Ispat and Energy Limited has informed the Exchange that Shri Gopal Tiwari has conveyed to the Company that due to his personal commitments and preoccupation, he shall not be able to give requisite time for performing the duties of director and therefore, he has conveyed his wish to resign from the Board of Directors of the Company. Accordingly, the resignation shall be deemed to be effective from June 10, 2013.

Monnet Ispat And Energy Limited has informed the Exchange that the following changes have taken place in the Composition of the Board: (1) Shri K.K. Khanna, Executive Director, whose term was due to expire on October 30, 2012, has resigned from the directorship due to his personal commitments w.e.f. August 13, 2012.(2) Shri N.C. Jha, who had joined as CEO (Mining Business) w.e.f. May 10, 2012 has been co-opted as a member of the Board. Since he is in full time employement, he will be treated as Whole time Director of the Company. The appointment shall be w.e.f. August 14, 2012.

Monnet Ispat Limited has informed the Exchange that there is a change in the composition of the Board as follows:- 1. Shri. P L Nene has resigned from the Board due to his pre-occupation and commitments and this vacancy has been filled by appointing Shri. Gopal Tiwari, an Ex-Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board, as an independent Director in terms of Section 262 of the Companies Act, 1956. 2. Shri. Gopal Tiwari has been inducted as an independent member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Monnet Ispat Ltd has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated October 31, 2009 that "The Board of Directors of Monnet Ispat has appointed Shri K.K. Khanna as Executive Director of the Company. Shri K.K. Khanna has worked with SAIL as Director (Technical). He was also a member of the Board of Directors of SAIL for two years. Shri K.K. Khanna has also been elevated to the Board of Directors as a member. Shri K.K. Khanna would be responsible for day to day operational matters and supervision of expansions being undertaken by the Company".
