Monnet Ispat Ltd has informed the Exchange that the Hon'ble High Court of Chhattisgarh at Bilaspur has approved the merger of Monnet Power Ltd with Monnet Ispat Ltd. The merger will be effective from January 01, 2004. As per the approved Scheme of Amalgamation, the shareholders of Monnet Power Ltd will get 1 equity share of Monnet Ispat Ltd for every 10 shares held in Monnet Power Limited.
