Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on July 19, 2007 have approved the shifting of operations from Phursungi to Rajkot, for the manufacture of Small Engines. Further, the Company has entered into a Technology Licence Agreement with Waukesha Engines, a business unit of Dresser Inc. USA for the manufacture and world-wide sale of diesel engines based generating sets. At a future date, the Company will also build and sell gaseous-fuelled engine based generating sets in India. Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the BODs in its meeting held on October 21, 2005 has designated Mr. Sanjay D. Parande, who has been working as the Company's Vice President - Corporate Finance, as the "Chief Financial Officer" (CFO) of the Company with immediate effect.
