Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that trading in the equity shares of First Leasing Company of India Limited will be suspended w.e.f. December 10, 2013 (i.e. closing hours of trading on December 09, 2013) as the company has failed to respond satisfactorily to the notice of the Exchange for non-compliance with the provisions of listing agreement.

News Verification : The media had reports on June 10, 2011 that the Promoters might sell their stake in First Leasing Company of India Limited. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. First Leasing Company of India Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "In this connection, the Promoters Group have denied that they have sold any share. As such, the news item appeared in the media is only speculative."
