Corporation Bank has informed the Exchange regarding Acquiring of stake in LIC Nomura Mutual Fund Asset Management Company Limited.

Corporation Bank has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated September 07, 2007 that "Pursuant to the approval received from the concerned authorities the Bank has sold 47,000 equity shares to Fidelity Trustee Co. Pvt Ltd A/c Fidelity Equity Fund and 73,750 equity shares to HDFC Ltd (total 1,20,750 equity shares) constituting 0.27% of the issued and paid up capital of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSEIL) for an aggregate sum of Rs.35,01,75,000.00 (Rupees Thirty five crore one lakh and seventy five thousand only) today".

Corporation Bank has informed the Exchange that "pursuant to the approval received from the concerned authorities the Bank has sold 1,19,250 equity shares constituting 0.26% of the issued and paid up capital of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSEIL) to Citigroup Strategic Holdings Mauritius Ltd. for an aggregate sum of USD 6,625,000 on June 28, 2007".

Corporation Bank had informed the Exchange that the BODs of the Bank at its meeting held on December 27,2004 approved the proposal for merger of Corp. Bank Homes Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank with the Bank (i.e Corporation Bank). The Company has now informed the Exchange the scheme of amalgamation of Corpbank Homes Ltd. with Corporation Bank has been approved by Honourable High Court of Karnataka vide its order dated August 11, 2006. Accordingly, a certificated copy of the said order has been filed with Registrar of Companies, Karnataka at Bangalore on October 04, 2006 and the

Corporation Bank has informed the Exchange that in the matter of proposed merger of Chikmagalur Kodagu Grameena Bank (CHIKO BANK), a Regional Rural Bank sponsored by the bank, the BoDs of the Bank at their meeting held on March 12, 2005 have reconsidered the said proposal and have revoked their earlier decision of merging the Regional Rural Bank with the Bank. Accordingly, the Bank shall not be proceeding further in this matter.

Corporation Bank has informed the Exchange that the BOD's of the Bank at their meeting held on March 02, 2005, approved the proposal for merger of Chikmagalur Kodagu Grameena Bank (CHIKO Bank), Regional Rural Bank sponsored by the Bank with the Bank (i.e. Corporation Bank).
