Price movement : Significant price movement has been observed in Varun Industries Limited. The Exchange, in order to ensure that investors have latest relevant information about the company and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the company. Varun Industries Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We would like to state that there are no events, information etc. pendng from our side that have a bearing on the operation / performance of the Company which include all price sensitive information etc."

Varun Industries Limited has informed the Exchange with reference to the earlier announcement dated October 17, 2013 that action under SARFESI Act, 2002 has been initiated by the Consortium Lenders. The matter was listed in Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), Mumbai for hearing on November 18, 2013. However, the Company has not received copy of order passed by DRT after its hearing. The Company shall inform the Exchange the contents of the order passed by DRT immediately after receipt of the same.
