Upper Ganges Sugar & Industries Ltd has informed the Exchange that the Committee of the BoDs of the Company at its meeting held on March 06, 2006 has decided to issue on rights basis 45,52,852 Equity Shares of Rs.10 each for cash at a price of Rs.150 per share (including premium of Rs.140 per share) aggregating Rs.6829.28 lacs in ratio of 13 equity Shares for every 20 Equity Shares held.
