Bhushan Steels & Strips Ltd has informed the Exchange that February 09,2005 has been fixed as the record date for the purpose of determining the eligibility for payment of interim dividend on equity shares if approved by the BODs at their meeting to be held on January 31,2005.

Bhushan Steels & Strips Ltd has informed the Exchange that the company is going to commence additional manufacturing facilities at its plant situated at Khopoli (Maharashtra) in respect of the production of prepainted galvanized material (PPGI). The capacity of the line would be approx. 120,000 mt per annum making it the largest line in India.

Bhushan Steels & Strips Ltd has informed the Exchange that the company has a small unit at about 2 km from the main plant situated in Ghaziabad. This small unit has yearly turnover of approximate Rs. 60 crores against the total envisaged yearly turnover of approximately Rs.2500 crores for the year 2004-05.
