Tanfac Industries Limited has informed the Exchange, regarding disruption of operations due to natural calamity as follows: "The Company's plant located at Cuddalore has suffered severely due to the recent cyclonic storm 'THANE' in the wee hours of Friday, the 30th December 2011. There were extensive damages to its Plant and Machinery. Plant is under shut down. The Company has taken adequate insurance cover and is taking necessary steps to restore plant operation at the earliest." (Source MSE)
