Supreme Yarns Limited has informed the Exchange that "Board meeting of the Company was held on May 2, 2007 and inter alia the following was resolved : (1) Establishment of Hand Knitting Yarn with capital outlay of Rs. 14.81 crore was approved and the same will be funded entirely by equity. The said equity amounting to 11% of post issue equity will be given to a strategic foreign investor on preferential basis. (2) Extra ordinary general meeting for issue of shares on preferential basis has been called on 30th day of May, 2007."
