Clarification of News : The press had reports on July 08, 2004 that KEC International Limited might bag Rs 400-450 crore order. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the press and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company. The company has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "We confirm that subsequent to Abu Dhabi order the Company has not been awarded any further orders as on date".
