Sathavahana Ispat Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has taken a shut down of the Power plant situated at Kudithini village, Korugodu Road, Bellary District, for repairs and maintenance which will last about seven weeks. The plant operations will be resumed after these works are completed.

Sathavahana Ispat Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has commenced commercial operations of expansion project at Kudithini Village, Bellary District, Karnataka of Coke Oven Batteries for manufacture of Metallurgical Coke with Rated capacity 150,000 tons per annum and accordingly the rated capacity of Metallurgical Coke has gone up from 3,00,000 to 4,50,000 tons per annum effective from December 23, 2010.

Sathavahana Ispat Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 12, 2010 approved for taking up of Integrated project for manufacture of Ductile Iron Pipes (190000 tpa); Sinter plant (298800 tpa), Captive Thermal Plant (15 mw) and Modernization of existing Blast Furnace at an estimated capital outlay of Rs.350 crores at its Pig Iron making plant located at Haresamudram Village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anatapur District, Andhra Pradesh subject to financial tie up and all government and regulatory clearances required, if any.

Sathavahana Ispat Limited has submitted to the Exchange a copy of financial results summary pursuant to Clause 20.

Sathavahana Ispat Ltd has informed the Exchange that "The Pig Iron making plant of the Company situated at Haresamudram Village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh has been re-started on October 1, 2009 after completition of Blast Furnace relining".

Sathavahana Ispat Ltd has informed the Exchange that "The Company has taken shut down of the Pig Iron making plant situated at Haresamudram village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh effective from 17th August 2009 for relining of blast furnace and for other repairs which will last for about six weeks. The plant operations will be resumed after these works are completed".
