Samtel Color Limited has informed the Exchange regarding 'Intimation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) started vide order dated 07.09.2017 passed by Hon'ble NCLT , New Delhi in the matter of Punjab National Bank vs. Samtel Color Ltd. '.

Samtel Color Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) vide its Order dated December 3, 2014 (written order released on January 15, 2015 ) has declared Samtel Color Limited a sick industrial company under Section 3(1)(o) of SICA, 1985. ICICI Bank has been appointed as an Operating Agency (OA).

Samtel Color Limited has informed the Exchange that : (1) ICICI Bank Ltd. vide its letter dated October 22, 2012, has withdrawn the nomination of their nominees Director from the Board of Director of the Company, therefore it is submitted that Mr. Alok Singh, ICICI Bank Nominee Director has been ceased to be a Director of the Company effective from October 22, 2012; (2) As per the application filed by the Company with Board for Industrial and Financial Restruction (BIFR) for "Reference under section 15(1) of Sick Industrial Companies (Special provision) Act, 1985" the same has been registered

Samtel Color Ltd. has informed the Exchange that "The Debt Restructuring Scheme under the CDR mechanism has been approved on June 30, 2009 by CDR (EG) vide its letter no. BY .CDR/(SB)/No. 374/ 2009-10 dated September 1, 2009, addressed to the company. The Scheme, which has cut off date of March 31,2009, envisages inter alia restructuring of principal, conversion of debts into fresh equity shares of the company, infusion of funds by promoters etc." The Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 3, 2009 have approved the said scheme of restructuring under the CDR mechanism.

Samtel Color Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the office of their RTA, M/s MCS Limited has been shifted from: Sri Venkatesh Bhawan, W-40, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II, New Delhi - 110020 to: F-65, 1st Floor, Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I, New Delhi-110020.

Samtel Color Ltd. has informed the Exchange that : "Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue vide Notification no. 90/2008- customs dated 24th July, 2008 has imposed Anti Dumping Duty in respect of import of Cathode Ray Colour Television Picture Tubes falling under sub heading 8540.11 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act 1975, originating in, or exported from Malaysia, Thailand, China, PR and Korea RP".
