Petron Engineering Construction Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 17, 2013: (1). Mr. Sanjay Jain has been appointed as Additional Director (Non - Executive-Independent) on the Board, w.e.f. May 17, 2013. (2). Dr. S. Rama Iyer has resigned as Director (Non-Executive - Independent) from the Board of the Company. With this, the strength of the Board of Directors is three(3).

Petron Engineering Construction Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has received letter of Intent from NCC Limited, Madhapur, Hyderabad for Services of "Erection, Testing, Commissioning, Performance and Guarantee Testing for Boiler and Auxiliaries Package" for NCC Power Project (2 x 660 MW) for a total Contract Price of Rs. 126.50 Crores (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty-six Crores and Fifty Lakhs Only), excluding the Service Taxes.

Petron Engineering Construction Limited has informed the Exchange regarding the untimely demise of Mr. R. Sankaran, Non-Executive Director - Independent on February 28, 2013. With this, the strength of the Board of Directors has reduced from Five Directors to Four Directors.
