The Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd has informed the Exchange that: "We regret to inform the sad demise of our promoter Dr. K.K. Birla, who passed away on 30th August, 2008. Dr. K.K. Birla resigned as the Chairman of The Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd. ("The Company") during 2002. Mr. C.S. Nopany, Promoter and Chairman cum Managing Director of the Company, has been presiding the affairs of the Company since 2002 and therefore the said demise would not prejudicially affect or make any impact on the present Rights Issue of the Company."
