Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that the trading in equity shares of Nagarjuna Fertilizer & Chemicals Limited shall be suspended w.e.f. August 29, 2011 (i.e. closing hours of trading on August 26, 2011) on account of Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Amalgamation.

News Verification : The media had reports that Reliance Industries Ltd may acquire Nagarjuna Fertiliser & Chemicals Ltd. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company. Nagarjuna Fertiliser & Chemicals Ltd. has vide its letter inter-alia stated," There is no truth in the news item and the Promoters of the Company have no intention of dis-investing their shareholding in the Company and accordingly the question of '

News Verification : The media had reports on June 02, 2007 that Rallis India may acquire a stake in the company. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company. Nagarjuna Fertiliser & Chemicals Ltd. has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"The company totally denies the information published in the media in the matter of Rallis India acquiring stake in the Company."
