Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that: "The Company was awarded Three Contracts totalling value of Rs.2,106 Crores (Rupees Two Thousand One Hundred and Six Crores). (1) One Contract for Supply of Rs.1,640 Crores, (2) The Second for Services of Rs.216 Crores, (3) and the Third for Civil and Construction Works of Rs.250 Crores by Lanco Kondapalli Power Private Limited, a Subsidiary of the Company, in connection with their Stage-III Expansion of the Power Project of 2 x 371MW, at Kondapalli, Near Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that: "On July 31, 2009, a Special Leave Petition ("SLP") filed by the MP Power Trading Company Limited ("MPPTCL"), was listed for hearing before the Supreme Court for admission and stay against the order of the two-judge bench Madhya Pradesh High Court dated June 29, 2009 (No. 687 of 2008). The order of the Madhya Pradesh High Court had negated certain contentions against Lanco Amarkantak Power Private Limited (a Subsidiary of the Company) raised by MPPTCL. The Supreme Court passed orders adjourning such hearing to August 17, 2009".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated July 31, 2009 that : "Pursuant to the Resolution Passed by the Issue Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company on 31st July, 2009, it is hereby intimated that, in respect of the issue of equity shares of the face value of Rs. 10/- each by the company to Qualified Institutional Buyers in terms of Chapter XIII-A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 2000, as amended, opened vide the Committee Authorization dated 30th July, 2009, the bid period is closed today

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that "The 76 MW Phatabyung Hydroelectric Project being developed in Uttarakhand by Lanco Hydro Energies Private Limited, a Subsidiary of the Company has achieved Financial Closure. The Project, estimated to cost Rs. 520 Crore, would be financed with a debt of Rs.416 Crore and an Equity of Rs.104 Crore. A Consortium of Five Banks with Axis Bank in the lead are providing the debt required for the project".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that in terms of the Share Purchase Agreement executed, consideration has been paid by the Company for the acquisition of the entire stake of DEG-DEUTSCHE INVESTITIONS-UND ENTWICKLUNGSGESELLSCHAFT MBH (a Financial Institution incorporated in the Federal Republic of Germany), of 3,95,82,450 Number of Equity Shares in Lanco Amarkantak Power Private Limited, a Subsidiary of the Company.

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that: "The Company has received Letter of Intent (LOI) from Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, for the Construction and Development of FDDI at E-1, Sipcot Industrial Park, Irungattukottai, Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu of a Total Contract Value of Rs.52.30 Crores".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that, Baner-III (5MW) Small Hydro Project in Dharmshala, (H.P.) was successfully commissioned by Vamshi Hydro Energies Private Limited, a Subsidiary of the Company and the said project started commercial generation.

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that "The Ownership, Management and Control of Clarion Power Corporation Limited, a subsidiary of the Company was transferred to Agri Gold Projects Ltd., (the Acquirers) and the possession of the property, operations and business of the power plant of the said Clarion Power Corporation Limited was handed over by the Sellers to the Acquirers (being the owners of the Company henceforward) conclusively with effect from 1st April, 2009".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that "The Ownership, Management and Control of Rithwik Energy Systems Limited, a subsidiary of the Company was transferred to Agri Gold Projects Ltd., (the Acquirers) and the possession of the property, operations and business of the power plant of the said Rithwik Energy Systems Limited was handed over by the Sellers to the Acquirers (being the owners of the Company henceforward) conclusively with effect from 1st April, 2009".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that in respect of the Development of Vizhinjam International Deepwater Seaport in Kerala, the following is intimated : LANCO Kondapalli Power Private Limited in consortium with Lanco Infratech Limited and Pembinaan Redzai Sdn. bhd. Malaysia (Lanco Consortium) were declared as the successful bidder by the Government of Kerala (GOK) for "Development of International Deepwater Seaport and Container Transshipment Terminal at Vizhinjam, Trivandrum and Kerala". Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that, Share Purchase Agreements have been executed by the Promoters (including Lanco Infratech Limited) of Rithwik Energy Systems Limited and Clarion Power Corporation Limited, subsidiaries of the Company for making disinvestment of 100% Equity capital to Agri Gold Projects Limited.

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that: "Letter of Acceptance (LOA) was received by the Company from Andhra Pradesh Health & Medical Housing & Infrastructure Dev. Corporation (APHMHIDC), an Enterprise of Government of Andhra Pradesh, for the Construction of Buildings for Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies IIIT at Basara in Adilabad District in Andhra Pradesh at a total Contract Value of Rs. 308.98 Cores".

Lanco Infratech Limited has informed the Exchange that: "7,50,750 Employee Stock Options have been granted to the Permanent Employees of the Company and its Subsidiaries on 24th April, 2008, by the Compensation Committee under the Employee Stock Option Plan-2006.
