On being alerted by the company officials for assistance, the fire brigade coupled with company's staff equipped with in-house fire fighting equipments took immediate steps to extinguish the fire. Although, the extent of actual loss/damage caused to the unit is yet to be assessed, the amount could be in the range of around Rs.1.50 crores. The cause of accident is under investigation.
