Godavari Fertilisers And Chemicals Ltd. has informed the Exchange on July 24, 2007 that "(a) the Board of Directors of our Company at the just concluded meeting, have approved the Scheme of Amalgamation (Scheme) of Godavari Fertilisers And Chemicals Limited (GFCL) with Coromandel Fertilisers Limited (CFL). (b) As per the Scheme, shareholders of GFCL will be entitled to receive 3 (three) Equity Shares of Rs.2/- each of CFL for every 2 (two) Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each held by them in GFCL".
