Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. has informed the Exchange regarding the closure of its books from November 15, 2006 to November 16, 2006, both days inclusive, for ascertaining the shareholders who will be eligible for the Equity Shares of the Resulting Company i.e. Great Offshore Limited in the ratio of 1 Equity Share of Rs.10/- each credited as fully paid-up in cash for every 5 equity Shares of Rs.10/- each held by such member in G E Shipping.

Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company vide Circular Resolution dated April 22, 2006 have fixed May 8, 2006 as Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders eligible for receiving the interim dividend, if declared, by the Board of Directors at their meeting to be held on April 28, 2006. The Company has further informed that the interim dividend, if declared, by the Board of Directors, will be paid to the shareholders on or after May 15, 2006.

Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the BOD's of the Company vide circular resolution dated January 23, 2006, have fixed February 08, 2006 as Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders eligible for receiving the interim dividend, if declared, by the BODs at their meeting to be held on January 30, 2006. The Company has further informed that the interim dividend, if declared, by the BODs, will be paid to the shareholders on or after February 14, 2006.

Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the BODs of the Company vide Circular Resolution dated October 20, 2005 have fixed November 5, 2005 as Record date for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders eligible for receiving the interim dividend if declared by the BODs at their meeting to be held on October 27, 2005. The Company has further informed that the interim dividend, if declared by the Board of Directors, will be paid to the shareholders on or after November 09, 2005.

Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the BoD's of the company vide circular resolution dated October 20, 2004 have fixed November 04, 2004 as Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining the shareholders eligible for receiving the interim dividend if declared by the BoD's at the meeting to be held on October 29, 2004.
