Gangotri Textiles Limited has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated November 17,2008 that: "There has been a fire accident in the head office of the company located at peelamedu, Coimbatore. The fire appears to have been caused by short circuit in the A/C unit located in the computer room. 10 laptops, 3 printers and all the Servers, which were located in that room, have been gutted. The fire service arrived on the spot immediately and the fire was put out after about 1 and 1/2 hours. Emergency steps have been initiated to have the basic facilities restored with new equipments from today.
