Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has been able to negotiate a Joint Venture with a local party in Ghana. The Joint Venture Company will manufacture pharmaceutical formulations which will be marketed in Ghana and nearby countries. The Company and the local Ghana party will have equal stake of 50% each in the Joint Venture company. The Joint Venture agreement will be executed in due course of time.

Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the Exchange that they have started commercial production at the Company's new formulation plant at Selaqui, Dehradun, Uttaranchal. The said plant is located at a location notified by the Central Government for central excise exemption and income tax exemption / concession.
