    Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has decided to make proposal to acquire a Company in the United Kingdom through its wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, U.A.E by way of scheme of arrangement. The price offered by the Company is 6.5 pence per share for the issued and to be issued shares with an aggregate expected outlay of approximately GBP 9.80 million. A simultaneous announcement under Rule 2.5 of the U.K City Code on Mergers and Acquisitions has been made today i.e. on September 16, 2010 in London.
