Empee Distilleries Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has invested and acquired 89.85% in equity shares capital of M/s. Empee Power and Infrastructure Private Limited on October 30, 2014 and has become a Subsidiary of the Company.

Empee Distilleries Limited has informed the Exchange that on October 24, 2013, the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras have considered and approved the Scheme of Arrangement between Empee Distilleries Limited and Empee Sugars and Chemicals Limited and Appollo Wind Energy Private Limited and their respective shareholders ("Scheme") under Sections 391 to 394 read with Sections 100 to 104 and other relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, subject to receipt of the requisite approval from the Hon'ble Andhra Pradesh High Court, which is the relevant High Court exercising jurisdiction

Empee Distilleries Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has acquired 75% of the Paidup Share Capital of M/s EDL Properities Private Limited and hence EDL Properties Pvt. Ltd has become a subsidiary of the Company w.e.f. August 05, 2008.
