Chettinad Cement Corporation Limited has, with reference to the Delisting of the equity shares of the Company from the Exchange, submitted to the Exchange the details of the name, address and contact numbers of the Contact Person at RTA and at the Company for solving Investor queries post Delisting.

Chettinad Cement Corporation Limited had informed the Exchange about the date of Board Meeting to be held on May 15, 2012 to consider and approve the proposal of delisting of Equity Shares with Stock Exchanges where the shares are listed. The Company has now submitted to the Exchange the communication received from the Promoters.

Chettinad Cement Corporation Limited has informed the Exchange that the 500 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each which were standing in the name of (Late) Rani Lady Meyyammai Achi (one of the promoters of the Company) have been transmitted in to the name of Rani Meyyammai Achi of Chettinad Trust. Further, there is no change in the overall promoters holding by virtue of this transmission.

Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated May 12, 2009 that "the Board of Directors at their meeting held today have considered and accorded their In-principle approval for setting up of a Second Line Cement manufacturing Unit with a capacity of two Million Tonnes per annum, at the site of Company's existing Cement Plant at KARIKKALI village, Dindigul District, Tamilnadu."

Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated June 17, 2008 that "The company has received approval from the Government of Karnataka for setting up of 2.5 Million Tonne Cement Plant and a 30 MW Captive Thermal Power Plant at Kallur Village, Chicholi Taluk,Gulbarga District, Karnataka. The Board of Directors at their meeting held today, have authorized the Managing Director to take steps for getting further approvals/consent from various authorities concerned and such other actions as may be necessary for setting up of the said Cement Plant."

Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd has informed the Exchange that: "The Board has considered and accorded their In-principle approval for the setting up of a Second Line Cement manufacturing unit with a capacity of two Million Tonnes per annum, at Arlyalur, near Trichy, Tamilnadu in addition to the new Green field Cement plant with the Capacity of two million tones being installed at the same place".
