Chettinad Cement Corporation Ltd has informed the Exchange vide its letter dated February 09, 2010 that "The Board of Directors at their meeting held today discussed the Proposal for Amalgamation of M/s Allied Minerals and Metals (P) Ltd.(Transferor company), with the company in the terms of a Scheme of Amalgamation under Section 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956 and accorded their approval for the same.
