Kalyani Brakes Ltd has informed the Exchange that the Company - Kalyani Brakes Limited (KBX) and Brembo S.p.A. of Italy will establish a 50/50 joint-venture company for the application engineering, production and sales of two-wheeler brakes. An agreement to this effect was signed on October 17, 2005. The joint-venture company will be headquartered in Pune, India, KBX, that pioneered introduction of hydraulic brakes for motorcycles in India, will integrate their existing two-wheeler brake production into the joint venture.
