Blue Bird (India) Limited had informed the Exchange regarding the winding up of the Company and Company's application to the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, Delhi (BIFR). The Company has now informed the Exchange vide its letter dated January 12, 2013 that: "Since our bankers have initiated action under section 13(4) of the SARFAESI Act, the Hon'ble Bench of BIFR has dismissed the reference as non-maintainable. And since the BIFR has dismissed the reference as non-maintainable, Company's Application filed in the Hon'ble High Court Bombay for staying the winding up proceedings

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the company had made an application to the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, Delhi under Section 15(1) of Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985, and that the said Hon'ble Board has accepted the application and the said application is registered by the Hon'ble Board as under Section 15(1) of Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985 as case no. 39/2011.

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the Hon'ble High Court Mumbai has issued a winding up order against the company. The Company is working to prefer appeals to the Hon'ble Division Bench/ Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Company has already filed necessary papers with the Hon'ble High Court Bombay; the company is yet to receive the certified true copies of the orders and expect the filing for the appeal to be completed soon.

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the CDR Cell has approved the Restructuring Proposal under CDR system for the Company and has issued the necessary Letter of Approval, which was received by the Company as on January 28, 2011.

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the CDR Flash Report submitted to CDR Cell has been admitted by the Cell on March 30, 2010.

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company at their Meeting held on July 01, 2009 has decided to reconsider its earlier decision taken at their meeting held on April 30, 2009 to extend the financial year 2008-09 for fifteen months. The Board decided that the financial year will be for twelve months i.e. from April 01, 2008 to March 31, 2009.

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that: "The Company has inaugurated its New Factory at Tumkur, Karnataka on 23rd February 2009. With the inauguration of this new factory the Company has shifted its existing factory at Pennya Industrial Area, Bangalore, Karnataka which was on a leased premises. The new facility is spread on a plot of 8 Acre on the Bangalore-Pune Highway with approximately 75,000 Sq. Ft of Industrial Shed. Details of the new factory are being made available at the website of the Company."

Blue Bird (India) Limited has informed the Exchange that the Company has received an order for export of notebooks to USA. The total size of the order is US$ 4.40 Million. The Company expects to complete these orders by the end of the current financial year.
