Assam Company Limited had informed the Exchange with reference to USD 40 million zero per cent Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds due 2011 subject to an over allotment options of upto USD 10 million. The Company has further informed the Exchange that they have raised an additional USD 2 million through Zero coupon Unsecured Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs). With this additional subscription, the Company had raised an aggregate of USD 48 million through the issue of FCCBs.

Assam Company Limited has informed the Exchange that the company has announced the successful raising of US$ 46 million through zero coupon unsecured Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs). The Bonds will be convertible into equity shares at a conversion price of INR 28.75 which represents 19% premium to closing price of November 23,2006.
