Adhunik Metaliks Limited has informed the Exchange that This is in connection to the information by State Bank of India ( SBI ), the lead bank of the Company that the lenders have initiated the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process on 11th July, 2017 and filed the documents with National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Kolkata for the Company under the insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

Adhunik Metaliks Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Orissa Manganese & Minerals Limited (OMML) at its meeting held on May 12, 2017 has issued and allotted 132110000 fully paid-up equity shares pursuant to conversion of 132110000, 0.01% Cumulative Compulsorily Convertible Non-Cumulative Preference shares and consequent to the said allotment the holding of Adhunik Metaliks Limited in OMML has reduced from 100% to 13.15%. In view of the aforesaid allotment Orissa Manganese & Minerals Limited ceased to be a subsidiary of Adhunik Metaliks Limited w.e.f. May 12, 2017.

Adhunik Metaliks Limited has informed the Exchange that M/s. Orissa Manganese & Minerals Limited (OMML), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, have been granted extension of lease for their three manganese ore mines (Patmunda, Orahuri & Kusumudhi) till March 31, 2020 under merchant category. The requisite stamp duty and registration charges have already been deposited to the State Government of Odisha. Patmunda mine has already re-started operation. OMML has requested the Government to extent the lease of these mines for further 10 years under captive clause.

Adhunik Metaliks Limited has informed the Exchange that Hon'ble Supreme Court has granted Temporary Working Permission to operate Sulaipat Iron Ore Mine of B.C. Dagara. The Apex Court has directed the Forest Department of the State of Odisha to take a decision within four weeks on the diversion proposal of the said mine and also directed MoEF to decide within a period of four week of the receipt of the proposal to grant approval for the same. With the said order the mining operations have restarted in the Sulaipat mine.

Adhunik Metaliks Limited has informed the Exchange that "Company has received final approval from Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India for diversion of forest land in village- Deojhar, Kulum and Mahadebnas of Barbil Tahasil in Keonjhar district of Orissa for mining of Iron Ore out of its captive mine. With the said approval all approvals required for execution of mining lease are completed by the Company. Once mining lease is executed with the State Government the company will start Iron Ore excavation."
